Editorial policy

Visible assumptions, original sources, and a clear distinction between explanation and measured evidence.

Scope

Understand perpetual futures fees, funding, and execution costs before comparing a trade's potential outcomes.

The first edition contains educational material and example calculations. It does not report breaking news, live prices, or independently tested product rankings.

Sources and dates

Prefer the original protocol documentation, exchange specification, service terms, or product release. Identify the actual product and network. Source links do not imply endorsement.

Record a check date for provider-specific comparisons. A guide publication date identifies this edition; it does not mean every linked provider term has been independently revalidated on that date.

Tests and comparisons

A hands-on review must describe the tested setup, version or observation date, dataset where applicable, and reproducible results. A documentation review must be labeled as such.

Do not manufacture performance results, star ratings, professional reviewer identities, or customer testimonials. We have not conducted named bot benchmarks for this edition.

AI assistance

This initial edition uses AI-assisted drafting, coding, and editing. The publisher remains responsible for deciding what to publish and for correcting errors. No professional review is claimed unless a named, qualified reviewer has actually performed it.

Commercial relationships

Affiliate links must carry an adjacent disclosure and the sponsored relationship attribute. Sponsored content must say who paid for it. Payment must not be described as proof of quality or safety.

Corrections

Correct numerical errors in both the formula and its examples. Update the guide when a substantive assumption changes. Keep publication and modification dates accurate; do not refresh dates solely to imply new reporting.
